In 2013, we began to see an increase in the number of male survivors in which DVI provided safety related services.
DVI responded to 3,359 crisis calls from survivors in the following judicial districts: 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th, 8th,11th, 17th,18th,19th, 20th ...and field 2 calls out of the state of Colorado
DVI provided $9,284 in emergency financial assistance to survivors and their children. Our financial assistance included: transportation assistance, utility assistance, rental assistance, food, clothing, household items, hygiene products, prescription co-pays, diapers, identification, relocation, storage, and other misc. items.
Our Outreach Program provided training on domestic violence, other victimizations, how to provide culturally appropriate services, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and Response to 232 individuals and 17 community agencies, conferences, and/or law enforcement victim service units.
