WE VALUE OUR VOLUNTEERS
Our Volunteers are an integral part of the Domestic Violence Initiative team. Volunteers and Interns are critical to the implementation of our mission to serve women, men, and their children to become empowered to live safer and more self-sufficient lives.
DVI would not be able to do what we do without the help and support of our volunteers, interns, and community service workers! It is because of their time, talents, and treasures that we were able to serve 875 women, men, and their children who were victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, caregiver abuse, and/or stalking in 2013. Each of them received quality, direct, and safety related services that benefited them in a number of ways.

One of our volunteers shared, " I'm so grateful to have served at DVI. I learned so much and am now working as a victim advocate for a local community based agency". -Volunteer
